A short time before the inquiry the developers released much more information, significantly adding to and changing their planning application. Apparently this is perfectly within the rules even though it effectively bypasses the local planning process.

After objections, the developer agreed to delivering a letter to all affected householders. Some 400 people attended the public meeting.

The reference for the enquiry is YH 5342/310/2. The inspectorate address is 3/17 Eagle Wing, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6PN. Please contact them with your objections to the housing proposal.

An objection has been lodged because much evidence which should have formed part of the primary planning process has only been introduced at this stage, thereby bypassing public scrutiny. To make matter worse, the City Council is not providing an independent voice but is siding with the developers. The fate of the site is in the hands of inspectorate:

In this context, an article in the Guardian is very interesting about putting the public back into the inquiry.
